The conclusion of the GARHL season is upon us and with that comes the GARHL Finals.  In the A Division, both series went the distance.  TAPPO continued their surprise playoff run with another upset over the #2 seed Bobby O’Briens two games to one.  Billings and Curwins will finish their series on Wednesday night after Curwins came back to tie the series on Monday.

In the B Division Semis, Doogies swept by the Thirsty Canucks and State Farm eliminated Tim Hortons in two games.

The Semi Finals of the GARHL have begun with some exciting games. State Farm booked the first ticket to the GARHL B Finals with a two game sweep of Tim Hortons. In the other B Semi Final, Doogies won game one over Thirsty Canucks 6-3.

In the GARHL A Semis, TAPPO continues to try and upset another top seed by winning game one on Monday Night. Bobby O’Brien’s responded with a gritty game two win on Wednesday to force a game three this Monday night with the winner going to the GARHL Finals. In the other Semi final, Curwins is pitted up against Billings.

Curwins and the Thirsty Canucks each booked their ticket to the GARHL Semi Finals with wins in their game three’s on Monday night.

The Piranhas erased a two goal deficit to send the A Division Quarter Final to the Shootout, where a very entertaining seven round shootout was needed to determine the winner.  Eventually Curwins finally put themselves thru.

The Thirsty Canucks almost blew a three goal lead late in the final frame, but clinged to the win over their arch rivals, Chiefs.  The Thirsty Canucks now meet Doogies in the Semis.  Here are the Semi Final Matchups

The #8 Seed in the A Division, TAPPO, upset the #1 Seeded Goblins in a two game sweep.  TAPPO beat the Goblins in the Shootout on Wednesday night to finish off the sweep.  TAPPO will play Bobby O’Briens in the 2nd round.  Billings will await the winner of the Curwins/Piranhas series in the other A Semin Final

In the B Division, one series will be going the distance in the first round, the Chiefs/Thirsty Canucks series will be finished with Game 3 on Monday night.  Doogies swept McCabes, State Farm swept Pour House and Tim Hortons swept First General in the rest of the 1st round series.  State Farm plays Tim Hortons in one B Semi Final while Doogies awaits the winner of the Chiefs/Thirsty Canucks series.
