A DIVISION: In the A Division, Wilson Fire and the South End Maulers will go to a deciding Game 3 to decide the Champions Choice GARHL Cup. South End Maulers took Game One in a Shoot out. B FINALS SET AS OHL EXPERIENCE SHOCKS DEFENDING CHAMPIONS DINO’S GINOS

The B Division Final is set as we had a shocking upset in the Semi Finals. Defending back to back champions, Dino’s Ginos were eliminated in two games by the OHL Experience. The fourth seeded OHL Experience needed a shootout to defeat top seed Dino’s Ginos 3-2 to complete the sweep and advance to the GARHL Final where they will take on the Blow Ponies. Blow Ponies defeated Billings in a two game sweep to advance in the battle of the 2 and 3 seeds.

In the A Division, defending champion and regular season champion, Wilson Fire, swept RU Serious. The final game of the series saw some interesting things including an 11 round shootout to decide the winner and also an injury to the RU Serious Goaltender midway thru the shootout. A replacement was put in goal to finish the shootout.

The Other A Division Semi Final is going the distance as Shootin’ Blanks avoided elimination with a 6-3 win in Game 2. Game 3 goes Wednesday night at the Sleeman Centre with the winner taking on Wilson Fire in the A Final which will start on Monday.

Finally, I would also like to send a special thank to you to long time GARHL Timekeeper Brian Barton, who has retired from the GARHL this season. Brian has been with us with over 9 seasons and he will be missed. We would like to thank Brian for his long time service and dedication to helping out the league.
