Late Billings Comeback Salvages Tie with Piranhas

Goals by Mike Alarie and Mark Gazzola fourteen seconds apart late in the game, including the game tying goal with nine seconds left capped a very big Billings comeback to salvage a tie with the Piranhas. Jason Heath had four points (1G, 3A) for the Piranhas.

Russell Schneider had the hat trick for WIT as they cruised past Alco in this contest. The game was tied 2-2 going into the final frame when WIT scored four unanswered goals for the win.

Mike Chapman’s seven point night (3G, 4A) led the way for Curwins in a blowout win over a depleted Wellington squad. Jeff Peart added six points (4G, 2A) and John Fields had five assists in the win for Curwins.
