Berry’s Shutout Backstops First General to Win

Jay Berry stopped everything in front of him to lead First General to the win, as Tim Hortons suffered their first loss of the season. Sam Houston had the winning goal.

WELLINGTON 3, WIT 2

A balanced Wellington attack led the Brewery to the win over WIT on Monday night. Russ Schneider scored twice in the loss for WIT, while Darren MacDonald had three assists for Wellington.

POUR HOUSE 4, CHIEFS 2
Tim Scratch had two goals and an assist to lead Pour House to their second consecutive win. Andrew Dunbrack added two assists for Pour House. Mike Minor had both goals for the Chiefs.

PIRANHAS 6, GOBLINS 3
Scott Contini and Chris Weland each scored twice as the Piranhas continued their winning ways in the A Division. Steve Kinlan and Murray Fries each added three assists in the win. Mike Roadknight led the Goblins attack with a goal and an assist.

MELITRON 2, McCABES 2
Ryan Hardman scored the tying goal as Melitron stole a point from McCabes to start off Wednesday nights GARHL action. Jamie Prince added two assists for Melitron.

GOBLINS 6, CURWINS 3
Bob Schmaltz had the hat trick, including the winner as the Goblins got back in the win column. Mike Stanley added three assists for the Goblins. Jeff Peart had two assists for Curwins in the loss.

BILLINGS 4, PIRANHAS 4
The Piranhas scored with just over a minute left on the Powerplay to claim a tie with Billings in a very entertaining hockey game. Jeff McDonald and Len Fonte each had a goal and an assist for Billings.

DOOGIES 3, STATE FARM 1
Doogies scored early and never looked back in a tight B Division game on Wednesday night. Jeff Mitchell led the Doogies attack with two goals.

BOBBY O’BRIENS 3, ALCO VALVES 3

Craig Perry made a huge save very late inteh game to preserve the tie for Bobby O’ Briens.  Nick Stadjuhar had two goals, including the tying goal for Alco.
